This versatile collection of sixteen songs celebrates the major holidays that fall within the course of the school year.Each song has been arranged for unison voices with an optional second part that work well in both classroom and concert settings. There is a short, rhyming, introductory script preceding each song, providing the educator with a myriad of performance options. All or a select group of songs can be linked for use as a full-scale, easy to stage performance. Many of the songs lend themselves to creative movement activities, and in the majority of songs, the suggested motions are included within the lyrics.
