This engaging musical with an ecology theme is perfect for coordinating with earth day celebrations, science fairs or just as an informative and educational learning tool about ecological issues. Animals of land , sea and air speaking in rhyme are used to convey important environmental issues to a group of young picnickers. By using the three "R's" of Ecology; Recycle, replenish and respect, they soon learn many important lessons about saving the planet.

For thoses interested inexpanding the production, a School Wide Theme Packet has been designed to accompany the musical. It contains numerous theme activities that can be done separately or in conjunction with earth day. The lively songs lend themselves perfectly to creative dramatization and movement. Costuming, scenery and stages suggestion are provided.
